The Palazzo: A Unique Blend of Modern Oriental Design

The dining room is considered the most important area of the apartment, as it brings together three generations of family members who gather to share precious moments and enjoy meals together. To create a captivating ambiance, the designer used eye-catching wallpaper to adorn the walls. This modern oriental design not only reminds the family of their cultural heritage but also adds a fresh and contemporary touch to the space.

One of the main challenges faced by the design team was balancing the conflicting tastes of the three generations. While the elderly members preferred a more traditional Chinese style, the younger generation leaned towards a modern aesthetic. Hing Jay Kilo TC - O Interiors Ltd. successfully bridged this gap by introducing simple luxury elegance, infused with modern oriental elements that appealed to everyone.

The renovation of The Palazzo began in January 2020 and was completed in March 2020 in Hong Kong, China. Throughout the project, the design team had to navigate the internal conflicts and differing needs of the three generations. Effective communication and multiple rounds of design presentations were crucial in aligning their visions and creating a space that met everyone's expectations.

The Palazzo has been recognized for its outstanding design and has been awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade is given to designs that demonstrate excellence in both practicality and innovation, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and showcasing competent technical characteristics, ultimately contributing to a better world.
